Reports continue to pour in of solid fishing on Manzanita. The beetle bite in the afternoon can be quite good. The Damselflies and Water Boatmen are still solid choices right now. A Balanced Damsel or just about any of Zack's Damseleeches are good choices for now. A good supply of Theo's Boatman would be good to have up here, an Amberwing Prince Nymph in #14 will do in a pinch, basically drop it in the vicinity of a fish chasing down the Boatman and strip quickly. ;) Keep your eyes peeled for the intermittent Callibaetis and Mahagony Dun hatches, #14 - 18 Pheasant Tail Nymphs and Adams will serve you well. Manzanita is definitely worth checking out!
Pay attention to the special regulations here, especially where you can and can't fish. Barbless hooks, artificial lures, catch and release. Make sure you inquire at the park entrance.
