The water level at Illipah Reservoir is still in good shape. Water temperatures are in the mid to upper 60s.  With warmer water temperatures anglers are encouraged to fish the early morning and evening hours to reduce stress on trout.  Anglers should do well on nightcrawlers, PowerBait, spinners and wet flies behind a water bubble.  Flyfishers will do well with matching the hatch and throwing nymph patterns. Vegetation on the south end of the reservoir has just started to pop, but access should still be good.
