At Ming Lake, topwater in the early hours have been fooling bass. The larger fish are coming on flipping baits just outside the reeds. Heavy weights punching through the coverage with green pumpkin, watermelon red or watermelon black have been good options. Crappie have been found later in the later hours with small live shiners and chartreuse minijigs. The bluegill bite remains solid with live worms.
