Fishing Conditions: Fair-Good; Water temperatures  in the low-70s by early afternoon

Clarity: Fluctuating Daily

CFS: 256

Fishing Report and Conditions: Fair - Good

Just a thought - If the predicted cool-down occurs next week, fishing could pick up considerably.
Crowds have decreased but the water temperatures are rising - It’s best to only fish in the mornings and monitor the water temperatures to avoid fish mortality. Up near the dam, big lake midges are pretty ineffective now. We are seeing success in much smaller “Crowley-sized” midges. The slower waters have strong Callibaetis and Damsel hatches. The Trico hatch has slowed considerably but that could be a temporary situation. The Spinner Fall may end around 10 AM, but the fish will continue to eat them into the early afternoon. Mid-morning, the PMDs are still active and caddis are on and off throughout the day. In the evenings, Caddis and male Trico are productive.
