Water levels have started to drop, but are still allowing for easy launching at the main boat ramp and Narcisse ramp, although weeds are quickly increasing. Non-motorized boats and boats propelled by gas motors 10hp or less are permitted August 1-December 31. Fishing is good for bass, with 10-15 undersized per keeper. Unit 21 and the Brown Dike also continue to be good for bass. Dark-colored soft plastics are working midday, while topwater lures are getting hit in the morning and evening. Special Regulation: Minimum size for black bass is 10 inches.
