The lake was stocked with a total of 1,100lbs of trout last week. 600lbs from CDFW and 500lbs from Desert Springs in Oregon.
The anglers have been hooking them up with nightcrawlers, and pink lemonade Turbo PowerBait.
Trolling is still steady going down 30 to 35ft.
The cooler weather over the last week definitely helped by bringing the fish closer to the surface.
The Ambush at the Lake Derby is off to a great start! We have 20 participates signed up so far.
Be lucky number 30 and sign up for FREE.
It is just $16 to sign up, and all you have to do is catch a 14 inch or larger fish to qualify for the raffle to win resort prizes.
All derby fish must be presented to the General Store staff. Only one raffle entry per person will be permitted. The derby ends November 15th , but come up and qualify early and spend the rest of the fishing season relaxing and catching more fish.
The Morrison’s Bonus weekend is October 25th – October 27th.
This will consist of the tagged fish worth CASH.
