The Fall is continuing to fish well, with a regular stocking schedule giving the river a nice boost. Nymphing continues to be the go-to method throughout the day, with rainbow warriors, two-bits, zebra midges, scuds, and pheasant tails topping our list of favorite flies. Dry fly fishing is starting to look up! We’ve been seeing hatches of PMD and BWO, so keep your eyes peeled for that. A dry-dropper setup with a terrestrial on top can be effective as well and for larger, more aggressive fish, try swinging streamers around the downed timber.
