Bass anglers reported fair to decent fishing

Bass anglers reported fair to decent fishing with bass falling for weedless offerings in overhanging brush, cattails and reeds. Heavy weights worked to get Brush Hogs and Beaver Tails in tight to the biting bass. Weightless Senkos and topwater were effective techniques as well. Catfish ate SSS Dip Bait, cut baits, and fresh shrimp. A local angler reported catching better grade whisker fish using the “float rig” to keep his baits up off the bottom. Crappie anglers did best with live minnows.
