Hosmer Lake has been on fire lately, offering great fishing opportunities. Sensitive indicators have been especially effective, and a fluorocarbon leader with an olive body fly featuring a touch of flash is a recommended setup. Essential patterns to pack include leeches, damsel nymphs, soft hackles, and chironomids in the blood worm stage. Scuds and water boatman are also worth considering. For surface action, small to mid-sized chubbies, beetles, and ants are perfect, especially around reed lines.
