There were some nice deep water rock fish limits caught quickly today. The rock fish are in the Wilder Beach and Davenport areas. There were some nice sole caught while fishing for the rock fish in the deep water. The few anglers fishing for halibut are still catching. There were some good scores of halibut caught up the coast near 4 Mile and Davenport. The Capitola area is still producing some nice halibut. The shore fishing was a little slower due to the swell.
