The Stanislaus River general season will close November 15th. As of November 16th you can still fish the river you just have to fish barbless, artificial lures only, no bait, and catch and release. Lure casters should try Panther Martin Spinners, try the NEW dual flash Panther Martin, Mepps, Kastmasters, Rooster Tails, and Thomas Buoyant lures. Fly fishing will be tough due to higher than normal flows if you do fly fish you should try bead woolly buggers, bead head nymphs, adams, stimulators, caddis. Bait casters should try salmon eggs, nightcrawlers, Berkley garlic scented mice tails, Berkley garlic eggs on a split shot rig.
