Stocking: Last week,1,500 pounds of Rainbow Trout were stocked. DFW planted 500 pounds of trout this week. Another 1,500 pounds of trout from Idaho will be stocked the week of December 9th. So far, 4,500 pounds of trout has been stocked this season!  

What’s the Catch? The catfish were out for New Moon Fishing last Saturday! Limits were pulled by boat on mackerel between the tower buoy line and the t-dock. The t-dock also saw some action. We had reports of trout in Half Moon Cove back by the pipeline. Trout were also caught on the shoreline in Cloister on orange Powerbait. With trout season, the panfish and bass bite have also picked up. We’ve been told the bass are biting on mostly shiners. Panfish are biting on worms and powerbait. You’ll find both anywhere you can find trout. 

Conditions: The current water temperature is 67 degrees. The district is filling the lake 25-30 MGD. The fill should be complete by the end of the month. The sun is rising at 6:36 a.m. and setting at 4:41 p.m. The new moon is on Monday, December 30th.
