Fishing is generally best when flows are below 3,000 cfs. Flows are at 8,000 cfs at the gage in Waterloo. Drier weather is in the forecast for the next week so this is likely to change.

There are still some scattered summer steelhead in the river, but everything else is catch-and-release. Spring chinook and the next run of summer steelhead will begin to arrive in April.
