It is a beautiful morning here on Wildhorse Reservoir and we have some great news! The area that had open water last week now has nice clear ice! Of the five holes we drilled at random, when entering from the boat ramp, all five holes were consistently 5 inches of the good clear ice! This means it is safe to walk on and you can now enter via the boat ramp! Please continue to exercise caution as this could change and thickness can vary. Knowing this, we will begin measuring weekly to give you guys some numbers for the weekend fishing trips! Have a great day!
