FREEZE! Before taking that first step on an ice-covered lake to do some fishing, make sure it's safe. "First ice” and “last ice” (also known as freeze up and ice out) are some of the most dangerous times to be on the ice. During these times, ice may be inconsistent and too thin to be safe. Russel Tank: Russel Tank has dropped from last spring and will not be stocked at this time
Upper & Lower Lake Mary: Upper Lake Mary boat launch will remain open all year
Francis Short Pond: Fly fishing was good last week
Ashurst Lake: This is a good time to target the large hold-over trout that resid
Kinnikinick Lake: With small game and waterfowl seasons open, there is an opportunity for a cast and blast outing
Lower Salt River: Lower Salt River Report
Bartlett Lake: The crankbait bite is good, but dropshot and Texas rigs are producing fish
Oak Creek: Stream flow is at base flow with a recent reading of 36.3 cfs
