Fishing is generally best when flows are below 3,000 cfs. Flows are at 1,500 cfs at the gage in Waterloo and dropping. The forecast is for dry weather through the end of this week.

There are still some scattered summer steelhead in the river, but everything else is catch-and-release. Spring chinook and the next run of summer steelhead will begin to arrive in April.
