Like the other rivers in the Tillamook area the Trask is low and clear this week and water temperatures are cold. There are winter steelhead throughout the fishery, but getting them to bite may be challenging this week. The Trask does not have a hatchery steelhead release, but provides some good catch-and-release opportunity for wild steelhead and the occasional hatchery stray.
