The trout are biting along senior shoreline

Jamar, Alex, Cyrus, and Yasmine Kampf are starting their day off right with getting two rainbow trout off of the Senior Shore!

The trout are biting along senior shoreline. The top baits are garlic scented rainbow powerbait, inflated nightcrawlers, dipped in garlic, and orange and green mousetails.

Catfish (big ones) are biting at the West Buoy Line. Lake Wohlford cats prefer mackerel, chicken liver, or shrimp.

Limits of Black Crappie are coming out of the west buoy line where they are suspended deep. They bite best on crappie jigs or live golden shiners.

Largemouth Bass are chasing jigs near rocky outcroppings and along the reed beds.

The trout are hitting along the southern shore from the South Shore Rock Pile east. Rainbow powerbait has been working well, along with small jigs and spoons.   Catfish are biting at the West Buoy Line.
