My friend Jesse who is one of the better anglers I know had another really fine day on the Metolius yesterday! He sent me an encouraging text this AM, with about 15 fish caught on a combination of nymphing pre-hatch, and a sweet after lunch BWO hatch dry fly session to enjoy too. 
It’s going to be pretty cold here through Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. After that is moderates and we have days above the freezing mark and nights that are not so bitter. 
If you do go to the Met, Perdigons, Frenchies, Eggs, Caddis Pupa (Tan 14-16, Orange 8-10, Amber 14) Micro Mayfly, 2 Bit Hookers and both euro style streamers or big articulated streamers that you can swing, strip or fish under an indicator.
