Our own Joel Crandall reports a lot of fish and some Large Sarges were caught yesterday. Pick your favorite beach and be ready for an opportunity at a high-teen to 20lber. Indicator nymphing with Balanced Leeches and Chironomids are producing the most consistent right now, but stripping Popcorn Beetles, Midnight Cowboys, or Pyramid Minnows will produce if you are willing to put in the time to strip. The fishing should continue to remain steady as we move into early April.
Hot Flies:
• Pyramid Beach Leech - #8
• Zack's Cut Bait Midge
• Rich's Moo-Midge - #8
• Mahalo Nymphs
• Popcorn Beetle
• Midnight Cowboy
• Zack's Pyramid Minnow
