As of 3/24 park officials are reporting thawing conditions at the reservoir. The edges are soft and muddy, and puddles are forming on the surface of remaining ice. Do not attempt to access the ice during the thaw. At this time, there is very little opportunity for open water fishing. The boat dock has not been put in yet.
During ice fishing season, trout were being caught in the 16″-22″ range, and perch were measuring 6″-10″.
Special regulations: March 1 – June 30 is catch and release only for black bass.
