Ice is continuing to recede but the lake is not completely open yet. The shorelines are soft and muddy. Do not attempt to access remaining ice during the thaw. The boat dock has not been put in yet.

Spring fishing should be productive with trout in the 16″-22″ range. Bass fishing will be slow until warmer weather persists.

Special regulations: March 1 – June 30 is catch and release only for black bass.
