Typical Spring weather on the Truckee River. 

70's one week, 30's another. Looks to wam up this week, but another cold front next weekend. 

Flows are up, but really not that high. 650 or so here in Hirschdale, and about 800 cfs out East on the lower Truckee River in Nevada. That's nothing. Clarity is rather good. 

Still, fish the edges. Do not fish the middle stuff. Trouts are always out of the main current this time of year. Nymphing and streamer fishing can be very good. If you get lucky, you may get a good march brown hatch mid-day, somewhere along the river. 

Get after it, Spring is a great time on the Truckee River.
