Overall the Powerhouse 2 Riffle is fishing well. On cloudy days you will see some Green Drakes coming off, it is otherwise a smorgasbord of insects hatching with small Caddis, Golden Stones and all kinds of midges and mayflies. There have obviously been a few Salmonflies hatching as the fish will eat a #6 brown Chubby Chernobyl. Expect the big hatch to begin downstream of the 299 bridge to ramp up over the next couple of weeks. Bring your S&Ms in #16 and brown Rubberlegs in #8 & 6 and fish them under a small indicator or Chubby Chernobyl. This is a spring creek, a full box of Adams in #12 - 18 and dark Missing Links in #14 - 16 should have you covered for any noses poking up.
Hot Flies:
• Lance's Jigged X-May
• Rubberlegs
• Sweet Pea Jigged Baetis
• Pheasant Tails
• Mercer's Missing Link
• S&M Nymph
• Walt's Worm
• Peaches n' Green
• BP Weiss Nymph
