Trout fishing has been good for recently stocked trout in both Upper and Lower Empire Lake. Anglers will need to walk into Lower Empire Lake since the road is closed due to road damage near the outlet of Lower Empire Lake. Trout anglers are having success catching trout on Powerbait fished near the bottom or by casting spinners or spoons. Upper Empire Lake is scheduled to be stocked in early June for the last time this spring.
