Fishing will pick up as we start to warm up this spring

Fishing will pick up as we start to warm up this spring. The warm water species here are pretty lethargic during the coldest months of the season. Walleye fishing has been fair while white bass and catfish fishing has been slow. Everything gets better at Lahontan with some heat.

Hinkson Slough: The rainbow trout that were stocked over the fall and winter are incredibly healthy and ranged in size from twelve to nineteen inches
Carson River: The Carson is the first river starting to show signs of spring

Baily Fishing Pond: Spring is here and Baily is fishing very well for stocked trout

Echo Canyon Reservoir: The water level has been dropped to facilitate repairs on the dam
Lake Mead: Fishing is good
Lake Mohave: Stripers are taking anchovies and jointed rainbow trout pattern swimbaits
Adams-McGill Reservoir: Trout fishing is slow at Adams-McGill
Haymeadow Reservoir: Anglers fishing Haymeadow are finding good action
Colorado River - Laughlin: Anglers are still catching trout at sunrise and sunset below Davis dam and through the casino area
Las Vegas Urban Ponds: Recently stocked channel catfish at the community fishing pond
Truckee River: Flows are up and will continue to rise over the coming weeks
Truckee River: The East Walker has been good at the earely spring flows
Baily Fishing Pond: Spring is here and Baily is fishing very well for stocked trout
Bilk Creek Reservoir: Bilk has been slow for bass and should pick up for trout when stocking begins again this spring
Blue Lakes: Fishing should be great when there is access again later this spring
East Carson River (NV): Clarity has been hit or miss depending on the day and temperatures
