Spring Chinook and summer steelhead are both starting to show up in Three Rivers. Cedar creek hatchery got the first springer into their adult trap last week and have also gotten a handful of summer steelhead. It's encouraging to see some fish coming back this early, but the best fishing will still be down in the mainstem Nestucca this time of year. Anti-Snagging gear restrictions went into affect May 1st (see anti-snagging gear restriction rules on page 18 of the sport fishing regulations booklet).
