Cooler and wetter weather has improved conditions a bit. Trout are more likely to be cruising the open water, instead of looking for shade. Aquatic vegetation is still limiting areas to fish and this may be the last chance to fish the pond before the vegetation gets too thick. Evenings or early mornings tend to be better as the trout are out of the vegetation and in the more open water. A bobber and worms, fly fishing, spinner fishing are all good options to catch fish.
There is a lot of wildlife around the pond, so if fishing is slow, it is always a good place to take a lunch break and watch the wildlife.
