Crane Prairie is getting a bloom

Crane Prairie is getting a bloom, so the water in some parts of the lake is dirty olive. But you should find clear water near the entrances of the Deschutes, Cultus and Quinn. And when fishing in the channels the moving water keeps the water clear at the bottom so hanging your flies under the indicator a foot off the depth your sounder shows should keep your flies in totally clear water anyway.
I’ve had several reports of the best bite being early in the morning and it dying off by noon.
