Wildhorse is full and spilling.  Water temps are still sitting in the mid 50s. Trout are moving into the shallows, improving catch rates from shore. Anglers are catching trout averaging 16″ to 22″. Bass fishing should begin to picking up with warm temperatures forecasted into the first week of June. Try targeting bass in the shallows as they prepare to spawn. Topwater lures and bladed jigs are good choices.

Fish stocking will occur this week and continue through next week. Brown trout, rainbow trout, wipers and channel catfish will be stocked.

Special regulations: March 1 – June 30 is catch and release only for black bass.
