Small to medium sized Largemouth Bass are biting near structure. They are eager to chase crawdads, frogs, and dark colored plastics.

Catfish can be found throughout the lake, but are particularly active at the west buoy line. Lake Wohlford cats prefer mackerel, shrimp, or chicken liver.

Crappie are being caught underneath the Crappie Float or by boaters drifting. The best times to fish for crappie are in the early mornings and late afternoon/early evening Crappie are most often caught using live golden shiners or crappie jigs.
