Stampede Reservoir remains the top Kokanee spot in the region. Schools of Kokanee are aggressively feeding at depths of 25–35 feet, especially near the Little Truckee arm. Anglers are reporting consistent hookups using pink hoochies, purple squids, and orange dodgers during the early hours of the day. As the sun climbs, fish move deeper, so adjusting trolling depth is key. Trout are also active near the inlet during low-light conditions. With full pool conditions, easy access, and a reliable bite, Stampede is the place to be for anglers chasing Kokanee this week. Stampede Reservoir capacity is currently at 100%.
