2025 BFEF June Trout Tournament is in the books
Bridgeport Reservoir - Bridgeport, CA (Mono County)
2025 BFEF Junior division. Each Junior participant receives a free Rod, Reel and Tackle Kit, provided by BFEF, Ken's Sporting Goods and Eastern Sierra Community Bank.

2025 BFEF June Trout Tournament is in the books.
We had a packed house again. Over 175 people attended. Everyone had a Funtastic time, although, the fishing was a little tough due the the high "W".
The awards dinner & fundraiser was a blast. Here are some pictures from last night. We thank all of our board members, volunteers, attendees, sponsors and partnerships. Special shout outs to; Pete's Place catering, Ronnie Munoz desserts, Lisa Kelly (our emcee) and the Lions Club, beverage bar.

BFEF 50 /50 drawing and Mono County Recreation Program for Tangle Free Waters hosted a booth at our dinner and both were a huge success. The winner of the 50/50 drawing, Darrell Melroy, donated back his winnings to BFEF programs. We can't thank him enough!
Joshua August of Bridgeport won the Men's Division biggest fish award with a 3lb 15oz rainbow from Upper East Walker River.
Mark K. won the custom wood work donated by the Melroys.
13 y/o Jacob Brooks won the Junior's Division Big Fish with a 4 + lber BFEF Tagged Trophy Trout he caught in Virginia Creek.

Ken's Sporting Goods & Eastern Sierra Community Bank help sponsor the BFEF "Getting kids hooked on fishing" program so every Junior Participant receives a free Rod, Reel and tackle kit.
"Uncle Phil " won a brand new fly rod, reel, fly tying kit and custom made fly box, donated by BFEF
Matt Koczur won the Adult Angler
$500.00 prize.

Last night BFEF honored Keith Rondeau for being our BFEF Volunteer for the past decade! Keith is also the administrator for the Bridgeport Insider social media page.

Bob H. won the Henry Golden Boy rifle donated by the Bridgeport Gun Club
Jon Libby Jr. won the $500.00 Educational Award, sponsored by BFEF & the Cogdill Family

Stephene Tune of Sonora won the Women's Division biggest fish award with a 1lb 4.5oz trout from Bridgeport Reservoir.

Mike Royere of Gardnerville won the $750.00 BFEF TTT CLUB Drawing. He then donated a portion of his winnings back to BFEF to help buy more fintastic BFEF TTT.
All the kids get to pick from an assortment of special toys/ gifts just for them.

Lions Club hosted our beverage bar, they use their profits to fund their scholarship program
Last night we honored 94 y/o Frank Tanaka, AKA "The legend", he and his family have supported our foundation since our inception in 2003.
