The river is definitely cloudier on the top end below the lake, visibility is suffering and around 2 ft. Fishing hasn't suffered if you fish toward the later afternoon into the evening. Golden Stones are still happening and a lot of people are reporting good dry fly fishing all day. The larger brown Chubby Chernobyl and a dropper, UV Sally, Iron Sally, or a Poxyback Golden Stone will yield good results. Rubberlegs, Olive Hotspots, the Duracell and your favorite Perdigon are also working. A good Caddis hatch in the afternoon and evenings will keep fish looking up as well. Fishing tailouts with streamers like Barr's olive or black Slumpbuster or your favorite Sculpin will produce. To reserve a day with one of our expert guides to experience one of the most picturesque streams in the north state, call Bryan in Outfitters at 800-669-3474.

Hot Flies:
