First bite this morning and we landed a 6#....in the box. 2nd, 3rd, 4th bites no fish! The fish can be very finicky at Donner Lake, but today was crazy! 14 bites produced 3 fish and bite #15 produced a 22# lake monster! We fought that beast for a good 12-15 minutes, so we tried our best to be gentle with it and make sure it was ready to swim away, before we let the old girl go. She's 21 years old and she survived to be caught another day.
 
I wish there were better photos, but I had no control of that part. Greg couldn't hold the fish very well, so I did...and the angle was wrong.
