With warming temps the trout have gone deep and it is all about Bass now. During the day fishing a sinking line with a crayfish pattern fished back towards the bank and as deep as you can get it is effective as well. You can get topwater action in the early mornings and evenings off of points, Swimming Frogs or your favorite popper will work. You can also try a Crease Fly if you see fish chasing Shad balls up towards the surface.
Hot Flies:
• Wooly Buggers
• Float-n-Flies
• Dead Drop Minnow
• Zack's Stillwater Balanced Leech
