This river above Green Peter Reservoir gets stocked regularly from late spring through the summer. It will be stocked again this week with about 1,400 hatchery trout. The river is currently running at 50 cfs. Best conditions for fishing are below 300 cfs. Light tackle including flies works best, but bait is allowed. On hot sunny days it is better to fish early in the morning before 10:00am when the water is coolest and the fish are less wary.
Trout are active year-round, and anglers are allowed to keep up to five fish daily.
