Bridgeport is still fishing very well with most of the good action coming from bait fishing out of boats either up in the stream channels or off of Rainbow Point. There has still been a few anglers trolling each day and getting into some nice trout and some pretty good perch as well. The trolling has been right out in the middle between Rainbow, Bridgeport Marina and the narrow section towards the public launch. We’ve seen lots of fish in the 3 to 6 pound range and some nice perch in the 1 to 2 pound range. The trollers have been using Thomas Bouyants, night crawlers and small Rapalas while the bait anglers have been doing well with devil tails, mice tails, pinched crawlers, inflated crawlers and garlic power bait.
