The lake is full and well-stocked, with the most recent plants in late June and early July. Water temps are in the mid-60s and stable. Bank anglers near the main boat ramp are picking up a few fish per rod using standard bait rigs. Trollers are doing well through the center of the lake and off the 4x4 campground near the resort beach. Needlefish or flashers and crawler combos are catching plenty of rainbows. For a shot at a big brown or mackinaw, troll larger plugs like F-11 Rapalas or Flatfish at 2.5–3 mph near the bottom. Leadcore line is preferred over downriggers here due to the lake’s structure—keep your lures down deep.
