Riviera Marina Fishing Report
Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

We’ve got some great river fishing news to share! Local angler James Kirkpatrick landed a few stripers while fishing from shore near the Sunshine Peninsula using anchovies. The Colorado River offers plenty of great spots for catching these fish.
This time of year, stripers are mostly running on the smaller side. That’s not to say there aren’t bigger ones out there, but the smaller fish tend to grab your bait first. If you’re after a larger catch, try swim baits for a better chance. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a tasty fish fry, stick with anchovies and enjoy catching the smaller stripers—leaving the bigger ones to keep growing.
Lake Mohave is producing fish for anglers trolling with bucktail jigs and various lures. Success depends on finding the right depth and rigging accordingly.
Below Davis Dam, stripers are being caught all along the river. Community Park and Rotary Park were just stocked with trout, so anglers are having luck both with trout and striped bass.
📢 Fishing Clinic Update:
Fish With a First Responder will take place at Rotary Park on Saturday, September 27th. This is a stocked event designed to give local youth the opportunity to catch fish.
For more information, stop by and see me (Rusty) at the Marina’s Bait and Tackle Shop or check in at Moose Lodge 1860 on Miracle Mile.
Thanks again for all the support, and we look forward to seeing you soon to share your catches.
