Fishing forecast (September through November): The Pine Valley Recreation Area is closed for the remainder of 2025 due to the Forsyth Fire. In addition, the reservoir will be drained from late 2025 through 2026 so that the aging dam can be rebuilt. Refilling and restocking is planned for 2027, as long as construction proceeds as planned.
