Shasta Lake continues to ruin first time fisherman, this past Friday and Saturday, with fat hard fighting Brown an Rainbow Trout, Kokanee, and King Salmon. Double digit fish were landed both days. The Salmon took big fish honors, today, tipping the scale at 51/2 pounds. These fish are chubby, as they continue to gorge themselves on shad.

The fish are all pretty deep. Most of the fish were caught while trolling 1.5 mph at 100 to 140 feet with Dodgers and spoons.

Shasta Lake is wonderful to fish this time of year. Lake traffic is minimal and you couldn't ask for better weather, with morning temperatures around 60 degrees amd reaching mid 80's in the afternoon.

Give me a call 530 905 0758 or book online at Caldwellfishing.com and lets put some of these tasty fish on your plate.
