The river fished very well on the lower end through mid-September and these fish are now in the Trinity and should be heading up to Happy Camp soon. Water clarity on the lower end has been good. Water temps are finally well below 70 F and should remain cool through the rest of the season. We are keeping our fingers crossed the numbers we have seen so far will continue through this fall.
Hot Flies:
Eggs:
• Clown Egg
• Micro Spawn - Shrimp Pink or Salmon Egg
• Boles Bazookas
Nymphs:
• Pat's Rubberlegs - #4-8
• Coppertop Duracell - #16
• Red Copper Johns - #14-18
• Gordon's Amber Wing Prince - #14-18
