We’re officially in trout season! The photo shows a trout stocking at Rotary Park — and yes, that’s me with the truck. These fish were brought in from the Willow Beach Hatchery for our fishing clinic, giving local youth a chance to catch their very first fish.
Also attached is a QR code for “Fish with a First Responder,” where you can see pictures from the event and the kids who caught their first trout of the season.
We’ll be receiving stocked trout at three locations as soon as the shutdown ends:
-
	Community Park
-
	Davis Camp
-
	Rotary Park
The striper bite is going strong, especially up on Lake Mohave. Trolling with various swimbaits and anchovies has been producing good results. Anglers may need to search around a bit, but if you can find a boil, you’re in luck! Keep an eye out for surface ripples or diving birds — both are good signs of fish activity.
Hope this update helps for now! We look forward to seeing you soon, hearing your fishing stories, and celebrating your catches.
Thanks for all the support — now go catch a fish!
