Lake Siskiyou trout action has been excellent. Rainbow Trout in the 2 to 5 pound class have been on biting well on the surface down to 20 feet. Trolling plugs between 2 and 3 mph has been the hot bait. Orange Dodgers with worm trailers have also been producing but trolling speeds need to to be under 2 mph. The bute has been best morning but action continues into afternoon as well.

Shasta Lake trout action has been slower as the lake transitions to from a deeper bite (80 to 100) to more near the surface. Browns,  Rainbiws amd the occasional Salmon can be caught.
