Open to fishing all year. Anglers should be aware that a cyanobacteria advisory was recently issued for Prineville Reservoir (see announcements, above). Anglers report fair fishing for trout, but should be picking up. Fishing close to shore with powerbait has been a proven technique for winter trout fishing. Anglers are also reporting increased catches of Northern Pikeminnow, and several have reached out to district staff for help with fish identification.
