Fishing has been good for rainbow trout in the 8-16" range this past weekend along the bank. Fishing can pick up around midday when the water warms. If fishing from the bank with bait hold off on the power casts as the lake is quite deep. A good technique at this waterbody is to move around the lake to find less pressured fish.
The boat ramp and dock are still in disrepair so launching large craft can be tricky. Launching smaller craft is doable. Trolling flies and lures is the best way to cover water and catch fish at this lake where bank anglers cannot access.
