Fishing conditions: Fair
Report: Recent reports from the river indicate we will see some early weed growth, some insects are beginning to come off with early PMD and a few Callibaetis happening. Green Drakes will come off on cloudy days, so check the forecast and have those flies with you. Keep in mind the large, mature rainbows are up in the tributaries spawning and will make their way back down into the river in May. Baetis and Callibaetis nymphs under the Fathead Moth is a good combination when the fish aren't rising. Strip Pine Squirrel Leeches and Water Boatmen in the mid-day and afternoons. If you would like to set up a day on the Fall, give a call Bryan in Outfitters at 800-669-3474 to set up a trip!
