I fished last weekend and caught a few nice fish. I did hook into one fish that I swear almost broke my Ugly Stik. There are some hogs in that lake.

Best areas have been off of Rainbow Point or on the south end. I caught all of my fish on a J5 perch Rapala. I also lost a lot of fish on that lure.

The Bridgeport Marina is open for launching and boat mooring. They offer RV and tent camping.

Now my favorite is the tent cabins they offer. They have a small general store and a fish cleaning station.

Note to all boaters: You must have your boat or any floating vessel inspected before getting on the water. It is a quick and easy process and is located at the ball field in Bridgeport.
