Water temperatures are sitting at 64F and rainbow trout are very active right now. Numerous trout can be seen rising from the shoreline. The reservoir has received its full allotment of 5,584 rainbow trout averaging 8.9 inches. Anglers can expect to catch 9-to-12-inch rainbow trout and the occasional Brown Trout. Water levels have dropped rapidly in the last month, with the reservoir sitting at ~50% of capacity. Anglers will do well using nightcrawlers, PowerBait (yellow, orange and red), and spinners.
